The assessment method is written examination and interview. Both the written test and the interview are on a 100-point scale, and each accounts for 50% of the total assessment score. The written examination mainly assesses policies and regulations, current affairs, official document writing, student management, ideological education and other aspects related to the work of college counselors.

According to the written test scores from high to low, the list of interviewees will be determined in a ratio of 1:3 to the number of people recruited for the position (those with the same last score will be entered into the interview together). The interview mainly examines the candidate's comprehensive quality and ability and is conducted using a structured interview method. The qualifying score for the interview is 70 points. Those who are below the passing score for the interview will not be hired. The finalists for the physical examination will be determined based on the overall assessment scores from high to low (when the total scores are the same, the interview scores will be determined in the order from high to low) and in a ratio of 1:1 to the number of people recruited for the position.

Shortlisted interviewers will bring the originals and copies (in one copy) of the registration materials (application form and relevant certificates and supporting materials) for on-site confirmation. Those who are confirmed to be unqualified on-site will be disqualified from the interview. For personnel vacancies caused by cancellation or abandonment of interview qualifications, candidates who have not been shortlisted for the interview for this position will be filled in order from high score to low score in the written test (if the last scores are the same, they will be entered together) and participate in on-site confirmation. Qualification review runs through the entire process of examination and recruitment. For those who have committed fraud, their qualifications for examination and employment will be cancelled, and the candidates themselves will be responsible for the consequences.
