The assessment method is written examination and interview. Both the written test and the interview are on a 100-point scale, and each accounts for 50% of the total assessment score. The written examination mainly assesses policies and regulations, current affairs, official document writing, student management, ideological education and other aspects related to the work of college counselors.

Qualification review runs through the entire process of examination and recruitment.
