Culai Mountain, also known as Longlai Mountain and Tolai Mountain, is the sister mountain of Mount Tai, which is located in the southeast of Mount Tai and belongs to the branch of Mount Tai, both located in Daiyue District, Tai 'an City, Shandong Province. It is 30 kilometers long from east to west and 15 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 250 square kilometers. It is separated from Mount Tai by Muwen Valley Plain, and looks east at Lianhua Mountain Scenic Area in Jinan, Shandong Province.

Culai Mountain is rugged and densely forested, with 99 peaks, of which the main peak, Taipingding, is 1027 meters above sea level. There are many historical sites, and it has long been a mountain-type sightseeing and leisure scenic spot integrating natural landscape and human landscape.

More than 2,000 years ago, the Song of Lu in the Book of Songs recorded "the pines of Culai", the notes in The Book of Songs mentioned that "there are many pines and cypresses on the mountain", and the Book of Zou Shan also recorded that this mountain "has beautiful pines". Culai Mountain is also the birthplace of Penglai Daoism. Culai Mountain was named National Forest Park by the Ministry of Forestry in 1992, and became a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
