1June, 1996, with the approval of the State Council, Luzhou implemented division adjustment, and put six towns of Tongtan, Tomi, Fenshuiling, Shizhai and Mining Factory under the jurisdiction of Jiangyang District, and five towns of Shidong, Hushi, Jinlong, Anning and Texing under the jurisdiction of Longmatan District.
