Common interview forms in Yunnan institutions

Yunnan institutions have strong autonomy in interview, and all localities and units will choose the appropriate interview form according to their own recruitment needs. The most common forms are structured interview, leaderless group discussion interview and on-site question and answer.

1. Structured interview

Structured interview means that candidates enter the examination room one by one in the order of drawing lots and answer questions in the form of watching or listening to questions within the specified time. The examiner evaluates and scores the candidates according to their on-site performance.

In structured interviews, candidates exert their abilities and are less influenced by others. Therefore, this form of examination focuses on the longitudinal test of candidates. Because the operation is relatively simple, it can well test the ability of candidates, and structured interviews are widely used in civil servants' interviews all over the country.

2. There is no leading group to discuss the interview.

Leaderless group discussion is a method of collective testing of candidates. By setting work-related questions for the candidates, the candidates are grouped according to the same or similar positions, and each group (generally 6-8 people, and in some places as many as 12 people) can discuss freely within a certain period of time without a group leader.

According to this, we can test the candidates' organizational and coordination ability, comprehensive analysis ability, emergency response ability, interpersonal skills, language communication ability, as well as their personality characteristics and behavior style, so as to judge the differences between candidates.

3. On-site question and answer

On the basis of structured interview, interview evaluation method of randomly asking additional questions based on job ability and characteristics of candidates.
