(A) Research background

In recent years, with the increasing number of college graduates, more and more college graduates find it difficult to find a job. Especially under the influence of the global financial crisis in 2008, the global economy was depressed and jobs were reduced. Many college graduates are faced with the problem of "unemployment as soon as they graduate". On the one hand, this problem is caused by the objective environment, on the other hand, it comes from the personal factors of graduates. A series of problems, such as insufficient psychological preparation for employment, unreasonable personal orientation and insufficient understanding of employment information and policies, are the important reasons that hinder the smooth employment of college graduates. According to relevant data, the number of college graduates in China has increased rapidly this year, and the number of graduates in 2009 is expected to exceed 6 million, an increase of 1 10,000 over 2007.

However, from the perspective of employers, the number of college students recruited in 2009 only increased slightly, far below the growth of college graduates. According to the first job-hunting survey of college students and graduate students in 2009 released by China cjol recently, nearly 70% of them still choose to work in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shanghai, and Shenzhen Special Economic Zone has become the first choice for many college graduates to find jobs. This shows that in the current country.

Encouraged by the "Western Plan" policy of developing students in the west, the employment concept of college graduates is misplaced with the national policy, and the employment concept of graduates needs to be changed urgently.

In 2009, 50% students ranked civil servants first, 20% students ranked public institutions first, and 20% students ranked large state-owned enterprises first. Civil servants and institutions are still the first choice for college students, mainly because they think that institutions and state organs have stable income and good welfare; Large state-owned enterprises are more popular, mainly because of higher wages. This shows that college students' self-orientation is unreasonable, and there is blind obedience in their career and industry choice.

(B) the purpose and significance of the study

This survey mainly selects the job-hunting area for college students; College students' job hunting industry and career choice; College students' understanding and orientation of themselves; College students' understanding of external employment environment. Under the background of the current financial crisis, this paper understands the new situation of students' employment intention in humanities colleges and analyzes its reasons, so as to provide factual information and suggestions for employment guidance in humanities colleges and universities. Intention, defined in psychology as people's activities to treat or deal with objective things, is manifested in people's desire, desire, hope, consideration and other behavioral reaction tendencies, and is people's psychological preparation state before a specific behavior occurs. Employment intention refers to the thoughts, considerations, wishes and attitudes of the main body of employment (mainly college students here) about future work, including the choice of specific occupation, employment unit and region, employment environment and consideration of work salary.

(3) Research methods

This survey is mainly based on quantitative statistical survey. The survey was conducted by the students of grade 06, 07 and 08 in the College of Humanities of Northwest A&F University. 90 samples are from law, sociology and public administration, and 90 samples are from self-administered questionnaires. In this survey, 270 questionnaires were distributed and 258 questionnaires were recovered, of which 228 were valid, and the effective recovery rate was 84.4%. Among the interviewees, 44.3% were men, 55.7% were women, 38.2% were law in China, 38.6% were sociology, 23.2% were public enterprise management, 26.3% were grade 06, 36% were grade 07 and 37.7% were grade 08. There are about 540 people in this survey, and the sample size accounts for about 50% of the total number. When sampling, the number of samples is basically evenly distributed in grades, majors, including gender. To sum up, the sample of this survey is representative enough. What needs to be explained here is that this survey does not involve Grade 05 students, mainly considering that Grade 05 students are about to graduate, and employment is something they have experienced. Such an investigation meant nothing to them, so I gave up.

This survey is aimed at college students' employment intention, and the questionnaire always involves 26 questions. Through the conceptual operation of employment intention, four main indicators reflecting employment intention are obtained: the choice of job-seeking area, the choice of job-seeking industry, self-positioning and the understanding and attitude towards employment environment. Among them, the choice of job-hunting area is drawn from four questions: question 12 ~ question 15, which mainly includes variables such as the city or region that you want to work most and the reasons, whether you are willing to work in the western region and rural areas, etc. The questions that reflect the choice of job-hunting industry are 10,1,16, including the most sought-after industry, reasons and preferred employment units; Questions 6, 7, 8, 9, 19, 2 1, 22, 26 measure self-orientation, including the consideration of starting salary, my advantages and disadvantages in job hunting, my career planning, my views on the factors that determine my success or failure in employment and my current employment preparation; The cognition and attitude towards the employment environment are reflected by questions 4, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, including variables such as job selection, judgment of employment situation, attitude towards one's own employment, views on current employment problems, preferred job-seeking channels, and attitude towards school employment guidance. In addition, the first five questions of the questionnaire reflect the background, including gender, major, grade, family location (rural area, town, city) and hometown area (east, middle and west). These questions are mainly used as independent variables to analyze the differences of students' employment intentions in different genders, majors, grades, families and regions.

When analyzing the data, we use SPSS statistical software, and the main analysis methods include basic descriptive statistics, cross-contingency table analysis, spearman rank correlation analysis and so on.
