Boling, the land of Boling in Cui Shi.

Boling was changed into a county, which began in the Eastern Han Dynasty. "History of Emperor Huan in the Later Han Dynasty" contains: "In May (two years of peace), Xin Mao was buried in Boling, filial to the queen." In the first year of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Boling County was established in the place ruled by Wu Li, which is now Lixian County, Hebei Province. In the first year of Yan Xi (158), Boling County moved to Anping County, Hebei Province. During the Jian 'an period of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, Boling County was returned to Anping County. In the first year of Taishigong, Emperor Wudi of the Western Jin Dynasty set up Boling State, which was still in Anping. Ouyang Yi, a poet in the Song Dynasty, said in the Record of Diguang that "Jin changed Boling into Bolu." The Northern Wei Dynasty was renamed Boling County, belonging to Dingzhou. Dingzhou was in charge of Zhongshan, Changshan, Julu, Boling and Peiping. Boling County governs Raoyang, Anping, Shenze and Anguo, and Anping is the jurisdiction. Until the Northern Zhou Dynasty, there was little change. In the Sui Dynasty, Boling County, which was established in Anping by the Northern Qi Dynasty, was abolished. Tang Du You said in Tongdian County Annals Boling County Annals: "Boling County was first established by Yang Di, and later changed to Levin County. Datang is Dingzhou or Boling County. " Since the Tang Dynasty, Boling has been called Dingzhou.

It can be seen that Boling County in history has been abolished, renamed, expanded and relocated several times. But on the whole, the area under its jurisdiction is between Hejian State and Zhongshan State in history. That is, Anping, Raoyang, Shenzhou, Shenze, Levin, Lixian, Boye, Anguo and Dingzhou in Hebei today. Boling belonged to Li County or Boye in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Anping in the Jin Dynasty to the Northern Qi Dynasty, Shenzhou in the Sui Dynasty and Dingzhou in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The main activity area of Boling Cui Shi is concentrated in Anping area. Therefore, the descendants of Cui Shi in Boling are often referred to as "Anping people in Boling" in history books, and there are still huge Cui Shi family tombs in Anping.
