Baoli Town is located in the northwest of Changtu County, 35 kilometers away from the county seat. Geographical coordinates are 123 4 1' east longitude and 42 5 1' north latitude. Baoli Town has a continental monsoon climate, with intense heat in winter and distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 4.3℃, the highest temperature is 34℃, and the lowest temperature is -32℃. The dominant wind direction is southeast wind in summer and northwest wind in winter. The annual average precipitation is 650mm, the frost-free period is 130 days, and the average freezing depth is1.5m.. There are four rivers in the town, namely Zhaosutai River, Erdao River, Viva River and Xinkai River, which store enough water underground. There are two T-shaped water systems in the town. Erdaohe flows from east to west in the north of the town, and Xiaonan River flows through the town from south to north and flows into Erdaohe.
