Brief introduction of Chahe New District

Chahe New District started construction at the end of September 2005. It is connected with Nanjing Jiangbei New District and Nanjing High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It takes 10 minutes to enter Nanluo and Ninghuai Expressway, and 1 hour to arrive at Nanjing Lukou International Airport. The normal navigation capacity of a single ship in Chahe Port under construction can reach 600 tons. The planned area is 30 square kilometers. Function, industrial orientation and spatial layout are "three districts, two bases and three groups". The "three zones" are: the development zone of Jiangbei New District in Nanjing, the development zone connecting the industrial belt along the Yangtze River in Nanjing metropolitan area and Chuzhou Economic Zone, and the pilot zone of Chuzhou's integration into the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone. The "two bases" are: to build a modern processing and manufacturing base focusing on auto parts and a building materials business logistics and distribution base interacting with Nanjing. "Three groups" means that the new district has planned three groups with commerce, government affairs and industry as the main body.
