Economic overview of Xietang Street

Xietang Street is an important radiation area and key component of the science, education and innovation sector of Suzhou Industrial Park. The 4.4 square kilometers of industrial park within the jurisdiction of the street has more than 2,200 domestic-funded enterprises and 180 foreign-funded enterprises settled in the key industrial zone. The investment intensity exceeds US$1 billion per square kilometer.

In 2014, the GDP of Xietang Street reached 21.2 billion yuan, and the tax revenue was 450 million yuan.
