Changzhou Qiyan Research Institute, full name of CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., is a core enterprise under CRRC Corporation. Founded in 1959, it is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a professional R&D institution dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of basic materials, basic processes and basic components of rail transit equipment. It is also a national technological innovation demonstration enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise, with a national enterprise technology center, a national Post-Doctoral Research Center and laboratories recognized by many countries. Although Qishuyan Institute is a state-owned mixed ownership reform enterprise, it is not a state-owned enterprise.
