How to apply for a Dominican visa?

Dominican visas are divided into diplomatic, official, courtesy, business, family visit, tourism, residence, student visas and other types. China has not yet established diplomatic relations with the Dominican Republic. Mainland Chinese citizens traveling to the Dominican Republic can apply for a visa to enter the Dominican Republic's Trade Development Office in China.

Chinese citizens holding multiple-entry visas for the United States and Schengen countries can apply for a tourist card at the airport and then enter the country.

Required materials:

1. Personal information form.

2. 3 copies of the entire passport:

From the first page to the last page. If the applicant uses fax from abroad, he/she needs to fax the personal data page and passport validity date.

3. Original passport:

The validity period of the passport is at least equal to or longer than the validity period of the visa type applied for (Note: The original passport will be mailed after the visa is approved.)

4. 4 front-facing photos without hats, measuring 2X2cm.

5. No criminal conviction certificate (notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and then notarized by the Dominican Trade Development Office in China). If the applicant lives in the Dominican Republic, the above certificate must be submitted to the National Police or apply to the prosecutor’s office. This certificate is only valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
