What is the full score for the AEIS English test?
63 points~
First of all, AEAS is the abbreviation of Australian Education Assessment Services. The AEAS exam is a comprehensive exam designed by the organization for students who intend to study in secondary schools in Australia. Different from IELTS, the AEAS test not only tests students' English proficiency, but also evaluates students' mathematical reasoning ability and comprehensive ability, providing schools with more detailed information about students to assist schools in making decisions about whether to admit the student. , and give suggestions for the number of weeks the student needs to take intensive English courses. Currently, more than 70 secondary schools have been approved by the Australian government to accept AEAS examination results, and this number is still growing. In particular, some well-known private high schools in Australia require students to provide AEAS test scores when submitting applications.
The AEAS exams are uniformly set and marked by the Australian Education Assessment Services Company. Currently, it only has an office in Beijing responsible for exam organization and related administrative work in China. Many parents will ask how to tutor for the AEAS exam. Unfortunately, there are currently no training points for this exam in China. The purpose of the exam is to test students' current comprehensive abilities in English, mathematics, etc., so that schools can arrange students' study plans more reasonably. Therefore, I believe that scores obtained without taking exams may be the most beneficial information for students to design their study abroad plans.

The evaluation system and score report of the AEAS exam
The full score of the AEAS exam is 63 points.
English part: ***5 items, original score is 100 points. The maximum raw score for each sub-section is 20 points, which is converted into a sub-score ranging from 1 to 9 points.
Mathematics section: The original score is 45 points, converted into a standardized score of 1-9 points.
Comprehensive ability: The original score is 60 or 40 points (each test may be different), converted into a standardized score of 1-9 points.
Within 10 working days after the exam, the AEAS headquarters will issue a score report. The score report will be emailed to the student or the student's designated study abroad agency, as well as the school to which the student applied. The AEAS score report has three pages. The first page is student information, the second page is the English part score, the third page is the math part and comprehensive ability score, and has an evaluation summary and weeks of English intensive course recommendations. The Immigration Bureau stipulates that to obtain an AEAS score of 36, you must study English for no more than 30 weeks, and to obtain an AEAS score of 61, you do not need to provide English courses.
The recommended length of the intensive English course mainly depends on the student’s test scores in the English section.
Under normal circumstances, if a student's English score is 70 points (the original full score of the English part is 100 points), it is recommended to take 1-2 weeks of intensive English courses, and if the student's score is around 65 points, it is recommended to take 8 weeks. In the actual exam, most Chinese students' English scores are between 40 and 45 points. In this case, the AEAS agency will recommend that students study the language for 28 weeks. The specific number of weeks depends on the individual's mathematics and comprehensive examination results, as well as their usual school grades.
