How to immigrate to Australia

1. Skilled immigrants from Australia

Skilled migration in Australia is an important way for people to immigrate to Australia. The common types of immigrants are Australia 189 skilled immigrants and Australia 190 sponsored skilled immigrants. Applicants need to meet the requirements of age, occupation, EOI score, IELTS and passing the occupation assessment before they can submit their applications and obtain immigration status. Taking 189 as an example, the application conditions for skilled immigrants are as follows:

(1) occupation: the applicant's occupation is on the list of occupations required by Australia 189 visa.

(2) Age: The applicant shall not be over 45 years old before receiving the invitation to emigrate.

(3) IELTS: the applicant's IELTS score is at least four six points, or the equivalent TOEFL, PTE or Cambridge English test score is acceptable.

(4) Pass the occupational assessment.

(5) The 5)EOI score is not less than 65.

(6) Invited by EOI.

(7) Good health and no criminal record.

Unlike 189 immigrant visa, 190 state insurance skilled immigrants are suitable for those applicants whose EOI score is lower than 65, and they can get extra points by being nominated by the state insurance, thus successfully obtaining PR.
