Is it safe to go to Cebu, Philippines now?

I went to Long Beach on Dragon Boat Festival in June this year. There are many China people, Taiwan Province people and Koreans on the island. . . I was worried all the way, and I didn't encounter any danger after I went there. The locals on the island are very enthusiastic, but it's safer for me to keep a low profile everywhere, but don't worry too much. Basically, everyone is simple and enthusiastic. I can go there to play, and it's still fun. I have recommended my girlfriend to spend her honeymoon there ~
