If you enter the UK with a 2-year, 5-year or 10-year long-term visa, and the longest stay between 2020 and 2020 reaches 180 days.

This visa extension does not require any formalities. During the extension period, it will follow the same entry requirements as the last visa, but will not automatically obtain a new visa or biometric residence permit (BRP). The new validity period of the visa (i.e. March 3, 20201day) will be entered into the system of the UK Visa and Immigration Bureau.
