Basic information about Wang Haiqing
Wang Haiqing is a native of Beijing. He immigrated to Sydney, Australia with his family and currently lives in Singapore. She has loved music and art since she was a child. She has a devilish model figure and a sweet angelic appearance. She has been working as a model since she was a student. After moving to Singapore, I also studied while working as a model. Although she has no dance foundation, Wang Haiqing started learning piano and classical music at the age of 8, so she laid a strong musical foundation and has a particularly good sense of music. This was of great help to her later learning of dance and choreography. Teacher Haiqing’s specialty is the flexible use of fingerpicks in belly dance performances. Belly dancing is a good weight loss exercise. It can help you slim down and maintain a slim figure. Stay positive and energetic.
Wang Haiqing holds a master's degree in business administration from the National University of South Australia. He was the youngest in the class but graduated first in class. He was awarded the outstanding student trophy and certificate personally by the principal of South Australia. The principal strongly recommended her to continue studying for a doctoral degree. If she had continued, she could have directly applied for a full scholarship. It should be said that with her ability, she can achieve great development in the business field. However, an accidental encounter with belly dancing inspired Wang Haiqing's love for dance. After only half a year of study, she completely mastered the skills of belly dancing and won the championship in the first Asian Belly Dance Competition in 2006. From then on, the wonderful life of Wang Haiqing, a generation of belly dance queens, began. Not only was she the first dancer in Singapore to present belly dance to the audience in the form of a stage play, she was also the first and only teacher to teach belly dance for sixteen consecutive episodes on Singapore's official television prime time.
Wang Haiqing opened his own belly dance school Bellydance Extraordinaire - Extraordinary Oriental Dance Company in 2009, and led a group of students who love dance to often participate in various major international performances. The "Extraordinary Belly Dance Troupe" founded by Hai Qing is the most popular belly dance troupe in Singapore. In the past few years, the dance troupe she led has been invited to many major performance events, such as the Singapore Arts Festival, F1 Racing, Marina Concerts at the Arts Center, the finale performance of the closing ceremony of the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games, the largest Chingay Parade in Singapore in 2011, the International Belly Dance Competition held in the capital of South Korea, and many charity evenings. The audience included Singapore's Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, former Singapore President Nathan Tsai, etc., all of whom received high honors and praise. Ambassadors from many countries and Singaporean leaders who have watched her dance feel that Hai Qing and her dance troupe have brought them a visual and auditory feast that combines tradition and modernity. Now, in addition to continuing her passion for belly dancing, Haiqing is also actively involved in local community charity services in Singapore, helping many new Chinese immigrants to Singapore to integrate into local life as soon as possible, and regularly sponsors visits to poor elderly people. Haiqing received Certificates of Encouragement and Appreciation from Singapore Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012.
Currently, the youngest of Wang Haiqing’s students in Singapore is 6 years old and the oldest is over 60 years old. There are often students who come here to study, and they must be taught by Mr. Haiqing himself. Teacher Hai Qing’s classes are lively and interesting. He also figured out his own unique teaching experience. Even if he encounters a student whose hands and feet are uncoordinated, Teacher Haiqing still has the patience to teach her well. In April 2013, Wang Haiqing will be invited to perform at the Belly Dance Festival in Turkey. In October, she was also invited to serve as a guest performer and judge at the International Belly Dance Festival in Seoul, South Korea. She hopes to cooperate and communicate with outstanding dancers and artists in China. I hope there will be more platforms and opportunities to share this beautiful dance with everyone.
