1988, Guichi, the former county-level city, governed 5 districts, 2 towns and 26 townships: Chengguan District, Wusha District, Guanqian District, Chizhou Town, Zhensha Township, Maya Township, Shuangqiao Township, Meilong Township, Pailou Township, Guanqian Township, Meicun Township, Dunshang Township and Lixiang Township.

199 1 year, wusha township was abolished and wusha town was established.

1992 Cancel Chizhou Town and set up Chiyang Sub-district Office (to manage most residents' committees in the main urban area under Chizhou Town) and Qiupu Sub-district Office (to manage villagers' committees and some residents' committees under Chizhou Town and Qishan Village in Lishan Township); Cancel Maya township and set up Maya town; Cancel Juanqiao Town and set up Juanqiao Town; Cancel Meilong Township and establish Meilong Town; Cancel Taopo Township, merge with Mei Jie Village in Liu Jie Township, and establish Mei Jie Town; Cancel the arched township and set up the arched town; Cancel Guanqian Township and set up Guanqian Town. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, the city has jurisdiction over 2 streets, 8 towns and 19 townships: Chiyang Street, Qiupu Street, Yin Hui Town, Wusha Town, Maya Town, Juanqiao Town, Meilong Town, Mei Jie Town, Pailou Town, Guanqian Town, Meicun Township, Dunshang Township, Lishan Township, jiang kou xiang, Tangtian Township and Yan Township.

1999, cancel Lishan Township and set up Lishan Sub-district Office; Jiang kou xiang was abolished and Jiangkou Sub-district Office was established.

In 2000, Guichi District governed 4 streets, 8 towns and 17 townships.

200 1, Qingxi Township was cancelled, 4 villages were merged into Lishan Street, and 2 villages were merged into Juanqiao Town; Cancel Tongzishan Township and merge into Meilong Town; Revocation in driving township, merged into Wusha town; Cancel Guankou Township, 8 villages merged into Yin Hui Town, and 8 villages merged into the newly established Meicun Town; Cancel Meicun Township and set up Meicun Town; Cancel Dunshang Township and set up Dunshang Town; Cancel Tangtian Township and establish Tangtian Town; Cancel Tangyan Township and establish Tangyan Town; Cancel Tongshan Township and set up Niutoushan Town. The number of village committees in the whole region was reduced from 293 to 29 1 village: Xinhu Village and Xinyi Village in Guanqian Town were merged into Xinhu Village; Guanqian Village and Xinjian Village merged into Guanqian Village. By the end of the year, Guichi District had jurisdiction over 4 streets, 13 towns and 8 townships: Chiyang Sub-district Office, Qiupu Sub-district Office, Jiangkou Sub-district Office, Lishan Sub-district Office, Wusha Town, Yin Hui Town, Pailou Town, Mei Jie Town, Maya Town, Guanqian Town, Meilong Town, Juanqiao Town, Tangyan Town, Niutoushan Town and Tangtian Town. * * * 36 neighborhood committees, 29 1 village committee.

By the end of 2004, Guichi District had jurisdiction over 4 streets, 13 towns and 8 townships: Chiyang Street, Qiupu Street, Lishan Street, Jiangkou Street, Yin Hui Town, Niutoushan Town, Juanqiao Town, Maya Town, Dunshang Town, Meilong Town, Mei Jie Town, Guanqian Town, Meicun Town, Tangtian Town and Pailou Town.

On February 5, 2007, the Guichi District Committee of Chizhou City and the Chizhou Municipal People's Government issued the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Implementation Plan of Administrative Division Adjustment in Guichi District of Chizhou City (Guifa [2007] 1No.): Mei Jie Town, Liu Jie Township, Niutoushan Town, Muzha Township, Meicun Town, Gaotan Township and Wuqi Township were cancelled. Newly established Mei Jie Town, Niutoushan Town, Meicun Town, Wusha Town, Tangxi Town and Meilong Street, Maya Street, Dunshang Street, Lishan Street and Qiu Jiang Street.

Cancel Chiyang Street and set up a new Chiyang Street. Xinchiyang Street is located in the southwest of the main city, starting from Changjiang Road in the east, Qingxi Street in the south, Baiyang River in the west and Qiupu Road in the north. It has jurisdiction over four communities, namely Gushun, Xiushan, Yanliuyuan and Nanhu, with a population of 25,350. Sub-district offices are temporarily stationed in Xiushan community.

Cancel Qiupu Street and set up a new Qiupu Street. Xinqiupu Street is located in the southeast of the main city, with four areas: Pingtianhu Road in the east, Yin Ji Road in the south, Changjiang Road in the west and Qiupu Road in the north. It governs five communities, namely Jiuhua, Xiao Su, Cuiwei, Yuehu and Huxin, with a population of 36,488. The sub-district office is temporarily stationed in Jiuhua Community.

Jia Xinghua village street. Xinghua Village Street is located in the northwest of the main city, with four boundaries: Changjiang Road in the east, Qiupu Road in the south and Qiupu River in the northwest. It governs 8 communities including Qiu Jiang, Qingfeng, Xinghua Village, Chikou, Chengxi, Shili, Kongjing and Changgang, with a population of 38 186. Sub-district offices are temporarily stationed in Xinghua village community.

Plus Qingfeng Street. Qingfeng Street is located in the northeast of the main city, with four boundaries: Pingtianhu Road in the east, Qiupu Road in the south, Changjiang Road in the west and Changjiang River in the north. It has jurisdiction over 7 communities in Bai Cui, Fu Xue, Chengbei, Jiang Yan, Donghu Road, Lily Garden and Hui Jing with a population of 52,874. Sub-district offices are temporarily stationed in communities along the Yangtze River.

Plus Qingxi Street. Qingxi Street is located in the southeast of the main city, with Maya Street in the northeast, Chiyang and Qiupu Street in the northwest and Lishan Street in the south. The population of Yongming Community, Qingxi Village, Biyan Village, Baisha Village, south of Lingyang Avenue, north of Baisha River Expressway and south of Lingyang Avenue in Qishan Community of Qiupu Street is 16230. The sub-district office is temporarily stationed in Yongming Community.

Adjust the scope of Lishan Street. Separate Yongming Community, Qingxi Village, Biyan Village and Baisha Village. The adjusted Lishan Street governs 9 villages, 1 community, with an area of 137 square kilometers and a population of 24,864. The resident of the sub-district office remains unchanged.

Adjust the scope of Maya street. Separate Xinlong Village, Shuangling Village, Ancestral Hall Village, Guanqian Community, garden club and xinhu community; Including Li Shun Village in the former Jiangkou Street, some villagers' groups in the north of Lingyang Avenue in Baisha Village in the former Lishan Street, some villagers' groups in the south of the expressway east of Baisha River and some villagers' groups in the east of Pingtianhu Road in the former Qiupu Street. The adjusted Maya Street governs 8 villages and 5 communities, with an area of 144 square kilometers and a population of 329 1 1. The resident of the sub-district office remains unchanged.

Adjust the scope of Jiangkou Street. Will be separated from Li Shun village. The adjusted Jiangkou Street governs 6 villages, with an area of 7 1 km2 and a population of 15396. The sub-district office is temporarily stationed in Sanfan Village.

Adjust the scope of Meilong Street. Including Xinlong Village, Shuangling Village, Ancestral Hall Village, Guanqian Community, garden club and xinhu community in the original Maya Street. The adjusted Meilong Street governs 12 villages and 4 communities, with an area of 167.8 square kilometers and a total population of 45,496. The resident of the sub-district office remains unchanged.

Guichi District governs 8 streets and 9 towns: Chiyang Street, Qiupu Street, Lishan Street, Jiangkou Street, Meilong Street, Maya Street, Dunshang Street, Qiu Jiang Street, Yin Hui Town, Niutoushan Town, Juanqiao Town, Mei Jie Town, Meicun Town, Tangtian Town, Pailou Town, Wusha Town and Tangxi Town.
