American immigration regulatory requirements
The immigration director of the United States requires that the time to leave the United States after obtaining a green card should not exceed 183 days. Green card holders only need to enter the country once every six months to maintain their green cards, which is a relatively easy requirement for ordinary people. If they want to become American citizens, they need to meet the requirement of living in the United States for two and a half years within five years. In addition to residence time, they also require naturalization applicants to stay in the United States for at least six months every year. If you leave the United States for more than six months in a certain year, the remaining months will not be counted as two and a half years of residence. If you leave the country for more than one year, the residence time will be automatically interrupted.
