Visa for temporary residents to visit (visit relatives) Since March 9, 20 15, China and Canada have issued multiple entry visas to citizens who go to the other country for business, tourism and visiting relatives. Each stay period does not exceed 180 days, and the validity period does not exceed 10 years.

1) Preparation materials

A. Applicants need to prepare complete application materials according to the list of documents for applying for a temporary resident visit visa. All Chinese documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. Some important application materials are as follows.

2) Submit the application and pay the fee.

A. Online application

If you choose to apply online, you must make an electronic copy of the document with a scanner or camera and pay the fee with a valid credit card. Determine whether you meet the requirements and apply online. The online application service fee is 65438 yuan +049.5 yuan.

B. Individual submissions

Bring your passport, photo, completed and signed form, documents listed in the list and corresponding fees to the Canadian Visa Application Center (CVAC) to submit your application. CVAC will charge necessary service fees. When you come to CVAC to submit your application, you have to pay the service fee in cash. The service fee for each applicant is RMB 186.9 yuan.

Note: If you submit documents in the visa application center, you should fill in the service agreement before submitting the visa application.

C. Submit the application by post

You can mail the application materials to the visa application center. When submitting an application by mail, you can pay according to the payment guide of the mail application and check the remittance bank information. Each applicant needs to pay a service fee of 186.9 yuan. If you need to return the application materials by express delivery, you need to pay an extra 43.4 yuan. CVAC will send an application acceptance email within two working days after receiving the submitted mailing application, and inform the application inquiry number.

3) Waiting for visa processing

4) Get a passport

A. If you choose to collect the returned materials in person or entrust others, you will receive an email telling you how to collect the returned materials when you come to CVAC.

B. If you choose to return the materials by mail or postage prepaid, CVAC will return them to you by courier after receiving the materials from the Canadian visa office.
