Which country do Asians come from?

Asians refer not to countries, but to people of Asian descent who live abroad and acquire foreign nationality. For example, Asian Americans refer to Asian American citizens, mainly including Chinese Americans, Filipino Americans, Korean Americans and Indian Americans.

Chinese Americans are a kind of Asians. Chinese-Americans refer to the children of Chinese overseas Chinese who were born in the host country and obtained the nationality of the host country. Also refers to the descendants of the Chinese nation. Huaxia nationality is the predecessor of Han nationality.

Modern China people refer to those who are stipulated that China people living abroad have obtained nationality outside China (also known as China people with X nationality) and those who were born abroad and have foreign nationality according to the laws of the country of birth. In other words, legally speaking, they are no longer citizens of China. But by blood, they are descendants of China people. Sometimes, overseas Chinese and China people are collectively referred to as overseas Chinese.

China has a long history. China people live abroad. Legend began in the Zhou and Qin Dynasties, but history can be traced back to the Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty established exchanges between China and the West. For a long time, envoys and people came and went every year, ranging from a few hundred to hundreds. China has opened up maritime traffic with Southeast Asia, India and Sri Lanka since the Han Dynasty. Due to overseas trade, China businessmen and sailors began to emigrate to Southeast Asia, and some of them settled down and became the first generation of overseas immigrants.

During the Tang Dynasty, the number of people living abroad in China increased gradually. Many foreigners call overseas Chinese "Tangren" and overseas Chinese return to China as "Tangshan". During the Song and Yuan Dynasties after the 10 century, especially in Fujian and Guangdong, many people went abroad to make a living.
