Where are the eastern Fujian dialects mainly distributed?

Fujian Oriental dialect is mainly distributed in Ningde, Fuzhou, but also in southern Zhejiang, eastern Youxi, southern Nanping and Nanyang. Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia's East Malaysia and West Malaysia are all far away, and Singapore also has Mindong immigrants who speak Mindong dialect. With the increasing number of immigrants from eastern Fujian who use Fuzhou dialect in the United States, Fuzhou dialect has been widely used in East Broadway in Manhattan, New York.

Min dialect groups are all homologous, no matter in vocabulary or grammar, such as the word "ren", the white pronunciation of Min dialect is trained as "Nong", and so on. Of course, the ancestors of Fujian people in Fuzhou also came from the ancient Heluo area. Fujian Oriental dialect mainly comes from the pronunciation of the Tang Dynasty in the tenth century, so it looks like a handful of words.

Eastern Fujian is close to wuyue, and the phonetic influence of Wu dialect in the south is greater than that in southern Fujian, so the rhyme ending gradually decreases. As Fuzhou is the provincial capital and deeply influenced by Mandarin, the voiced stops and voiced fricatives in initials have disappeared.

The bottom of Mindong dialect is Guqi dialect, and Liang Wudi's policy of moving people moved people from the Central Plains to Fujian. The eastern Fujian dialect was later influenced by the medieval Mandarin, the ancient Wu dialect and the ancient Chu dialect, forming today's eastern Fujian dialect.
