Lu Xun has three grandsons and one granddaughter. What are they doing?
When it comes to Lu Xun, everyone must be familiar with it. The earliest understanding of him should come from his articles, such as "From Baicao Garden to Sanwei Bookstore", "Hometown", "Diary of a Madman", etc. As a literary master of modern China, what kind of experiences did he have in his life?
Lu Xun was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang in 1881. When he was 11 years old, he entered Sanwei Bookstore to study. Unexpectedly, a year later, his family declined and the family fled to the countryside. Because his father was ill, Lu Xun often went to the pharmacy to buy medicine, during which he was looked down upon by others.
After his father passed away in 1896, Lu Xun worked hard to study. He first went to Nanjing to study, and entered the Mining and Railway School attached to Jiangnan Lu Normal University, where he mainly studied mining. After graduation, he went to Japan to study at public expense. After that, he entered Sendai Medical College, which is now Tohoku University.
In 1906, Lu Xun decided to abandon medicine and pursue literature, and began his literary career. Since 1909, he has served as a physiology and chemistry teacher in Hangzhou and Zhejiang Normal Schools, and a teacher in Shaoxing Middle School. In May 1918, he published "Diary of a Madman", the first vernacular short story written in modern style in the history of modern Chinese literature, under the pen name of Lu Xun, which made him famous instantly.
Since 1926, Lu Xun has served as a professor in the Chinese Language Department of Xiamen University, a teacher at Sun Yat-sen University, and a standing committee member of the Chinese Left-wing Writers Alliance. A year later, he declined to be a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. In January 1936, his last innovative work "New Story" was published. On October 17, Lu Xun's old illness relapsed and he died on the 19th.
Lu Xun had only one son, Zhou Haiying, who was born in 1929. It is said that when Zhou Haiying was born, the mother showed signs of dystocia. The doctor asked Lu Xun whether to keep the child as an adult or to keep the child. Lu Xun said directly: "Keep it as an adult." ?The result was surprising, mother and child were safe. Zhou Haiying participated in the revolutionary work in 1948. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he studied radio in the Department of Physics of Peking University. He successively served as a deputy ministerial cadre of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, chairman of the Shanghai Lu Xun Cultural Development Center, and honorary president of the China Lu Xun Research Association.
