The Sixth Brigade of Cixi Agricultural Reclamation Farm is an immigrant from Shangyu. 1966, due to the collapse of Nanhui Commune in Shangyu County at that time, 47 families of the victims moved to Chen Jialu Brigade of Xisan Commune to settle down and made a living by farming 526 mu of land on the farm. 1982, according to the spirit of the State Council [1978] No.20 and Cixi County People's Government [1982] No.30, the state-owned farm land was recovered, the immigrants were taken care of by the farm, and 526 mu of farm land continued to be cultivated. As a result, it became the sixth farm in Cixi City.

Due to the "non-industrial and non-agricultural" nature of the six groups of people, they can neither enjoy the relevant treatment of employees of state-owned enterprises nor enjoy the same treatment as the surrounding farmers. The masses have repeatedly asked the city leaders to bring them into the right track management and enjoy the same treatment as the surrounding rural people. Now, the urgent desire of this group has finally come true.
