Hans Blix was born in Sweden on June 28th, 1928. He studied at Uppsala University, Columbia University and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, and received a doctorate in philosophy from Cambridge University and a doctorate in law from Stockholm University. 1956 to 1958 president of the world Federation of free and radical youth. 1960 to 1963, associate professor of international law, Stockholm University. 196 1 to 198 1, a member of the Swedish delegation to the United Nations General Assembly; 1962 to 1978 are members of the Swedish delegation to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.
