I haven’t loved enough yet. It’s obvious that Manchus can’t intermarry. Why is Emperor Jiaqing really half-Han?
As the last feudal dynasty in Chinese history, the Manchu Qing Dynasty was ruled by ethnic minorities. Whether you admit it or not, the Tatars have always left an indelible mark on history. As Han Chinese, many people hate the Manchu Sanjianghai.
The Ming Dynasty has been dead for 373 years, and the last unified dynasty established by the Han people was eliminated. Because the Qing Dynasty was ruled by ethnic minorities, it can be said that it tried its best to prevent the Han people from restoring the country. However, intermarriage between Han and Manchus was prohibited, especially between nobles and nobles, and between dawn and dawn. However, due to the large population base of the Han ethnic group, no matter how hard it is banned, it cannot be completely eradicated. But what is a bit strange is that the royal family and nobles of the Manchu Qing Dynasty also had Han ancestry, and even their emperor also had Han ancestry.
The first person who wanted to break the rule that Man and Han were not allowed to intermarry was Dorgon, the regent of both the government and the public. In the fifth year of Shunzhi, Dorgon told the Ministry of Rites: "The world is one family, and the officials and people of the Manchu and Han Dynasties are all my courtiers. If you want them to get married, please listen to them." What do you mean? In other words, if the children of North Korean officials marry into the opposite clan, they need to declare it to the people, but there are no restrictions among the people. This was the first time that officials had opened the door for intermarriage between Manchus and Han people. Although there is a threshold, intermarriage between Manchu and Han is no longer a capital crime.
But Dorgon died soon after, and after his death he made it clear that he had usurped power. He agreed that intermarriage between Manchus and Han was a grave sin. After Kangxi succeeded to the throne, although he made many achievements in opening up new territories, he was relatively conservative politically. In order to maintain the rule of the Manchu Dynasty, it became a dogma that Manchus and Han people were not allowed to intermarry. All Manchus and Han people were not allowed to violate it, and violators were severely punished.
When did the Manchus officially break the ban on intermarriage between Manchus and Han people? That was already the period of Empress Dowager Cixi in the late Qing Dynasty. The already riddled Manchu dynasty had nothing to prohibit, so Empress Dowager Cixi simply allowed intermarriage between Manchus and Han people.
In fact, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and the period of Emperor Jiaqing, intermarriage between Manchu and Han people was the norm. As the saying goes, the law does not punish everyone, everyone has done it, and the court can't do anything about it. Within the royal family, in order to maintain the rule of the Eight Banners, the Manchu nobles were still very strict in prohibiting intermarriage with Han people. But in fact their Emperor Jiaqing already had Han ancestry. Do you know what this is? Records: Empress Xiaoyi Chun, the daughter of Qingtai, who was in charge of the Wei family, was born in the Han army, and later raised the yellow flag to enter Manchuria and changed. It turns out that Emperor Jiaqing's biological mother, Empress Xiaoyi Chun, was actually Han Chinese. She was awarded the Eight Banners of the Qing Dynasty by Emperor Qianlong because of her father's great contributions. It's like giving his general the last name Li, it's just a way to win over. So starting from Emperor Jiaqing, the Manchu nobles also had Han ancestry.
