What major does STEM refer to?

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, in which science lies in understanding the world and explaining the objective laws of nature; Technology and engineering transform the world, realize the control and utilization of nature on the basis of respecting the laws of nature, and solve problems encountered in the process of social development; Mathematics is the basic tool of technology and engineering.

STEM teaching does not simply combine science and engineering, but transforms the fragmentary knowledge and mechanical process that students have learned into a process of exploring different aspects of the world. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are mutually supportive, complementary and developing together.

Expanding Material STEM course focuses on strengthening students' education in four aspects:
