Is Ningxia in northern Shaanxi?

Ningxia belongs to the northwest region. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, abbreviated as Ning, is the capital of Yinchuan. Located in the northwest inland of China, bordering Shaanxi in the east, Inner Mongolia in the west and north, and Gansu in the south, it is located in the northwest of the four geographical divisions. Gansu is located in the geographical center of China, with a slender outline, at the intersection of Qinghai-Tibet, Mongolia-Xinjiang and Loess Plateau, and borders Mongolia at the northwest end.
