Therefore, more than 80% of Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant's electricity is delivered to Wuhan in the southeast of Hubei Province and Zhengzhou in the middle of Henan Province, greatly alleviating the contradiction between the two provinces (especially Hubei Province). Danjiangkou hydropower plant at that time was a typical initial power plant. According to statistics, from 1974 to 1980 after six units were put into operation, that is, during the seven years when Hubei Province and Henan Province were respectively dispatched, Danjiangkou Hydropower Station generated a total of 261630,000 kWh, of which1985438+030,000 kWh was supplied to Hubei Province and 5.903 billion kWh was supplied to Henan Province. 3. As the backbone power plant of Central China Power Grid, it has played a great role in frequency modulation, peak shaving and emergency standby.

Such as 1993, the unit starts and stops 1342 times, with an average of 3.68 times a day, which accelerates the wear of the unit and the fatigue of the switch mechanism and increases the operation of the operators on duty. In order to ensure the safety and stability of the power grid, Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant runs on two buses of 220 kV for a long time without perfect bus differential protection, and the running time of 1993 is as long as 326 days a year, which makes Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant in danger for a long time without bus differential protection, and sacrifices its own safety to ensure the safety of the whole power grid. In order to maintain the power quality of central China power grid and ensure the safety of power grid dispatching, one or more units of Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant are often operated at low load or completely empty load for a long time to ensure a considerable amount of rotating reserve capacity or generate a certain amount of reactive power to support the grid voltage, thus greatly improving the power consumption rate of Danjiangkou units. In the dry season, Danjiangkou units have to operate in phase modulation for a long time to generate reactive power to maintain the voltage level of the power grid, but a large amount of active power absorbed by the phase modulation camera group can not be compensated. This can be regarded as the great selfless contribution made by Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant to the power grid and society.

Therefore, Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant's position as the main backbone power plant in the initial stage of the establishment of Central China Power Grid and even for a long time can not be ignored, and its contribution and sacrifice to the power grid is indelible in the history of Central China Power Grid.

4. It has promoted the formation and development of Danjiangkou direct supply area.

1973, the last unit of Danjiangkou Hydropower Station was put into operation, and the initial project of Danjiangkou Water Control Project was completed in an all-round way. As compensation for the contributions and sacrifices made by three counties (cities) in the reservoir area for Danjiangkou Project construction, and as an attempt of development resettlement, the state used the resettlement funds to build two 1 10 kV power supply lines in Yun Dan and Danxi. According to statistics, from the erection of Danxi Line to 1997, Xichuan County has accumulated 665438+180,000 kWh of electricity from Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant; In addition, during the period from 1988 to 1997 10, Danjiangkou hydropower plant directly supplied 3.939 billion kwh of power to Yunxian and danjiangkou city. That is to say, the total electricity generated by Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant in three counties (cities) in the reservoir area far exceeds 654.38+0 billion kWh, and they have gained a lot from the long-term low electricity price. Danjiangkou Water Control Project Administration and three counties (cities) in the reservoir area are directly supplied with water by Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant, so it is called "Danjiangkou Direct Supply Area". With the rapid development of social economy in the direct supply area, the demand for electricity in the direct supply area has also increased rapidly. 1987 The total power supply to the direct supply area was 730 million kWh; After 10 years, in 1996, the electricity consumption in the direct supply area rose to 22 10/00000 kwh, which was three times that of 10 years ago.

In order to prevent the flood control equipment of Danjiangkou Hydropower Station from losing power supply when the units are completely cut off in the catastrophic flood year, Danjiangkou Water Control Project Management Bureau started to build its own flood control power plant (now known as Small Hydropower Company) with an installed capacity of 2 (2× 2) * * 40,000 kilowatts, which was completed and put into operation in 1992, with an annual power generation of 200-300 million kWh, further expanding Danjiang.

5. It has promoted the development of diversified management and power supply enterprises of Danjiangkou Water Control Project Administration.

Danjiangkou Water Control Project Management Bureau built energy-consuming industries such as aluminum plant, ferroalloy plant, calcium carbide plant, steel plant and silicon carbide plant in the early 1970s by taking advantage of its own power resources. Although these industries are not satisfactory in industrial structure, they can solve the employment problems of a large number of employees' families and children left behind in Danjiangkou after dam construction, alleviate many social contradictions between units and localities, and lay a solid foundation for their survival and development in the market economy environment in the future.

With the gradual expansion of the scale of local industrial enterprises, hydropower companies as local power supply and consumption management units have also been strengthened, and the power supply has increased rapidly. From Xujiagou substation with an initial capacity of 1 transformer and 65438+ 100 kV, it has developed into a power supply scale with two substations (Xujiagou and Sujiagou) and three main transformers. For decades, the output value and sales revenue of industrial enterprises in the group company have increased year by year, and the proportion of diversified businesses in the total industrial output value of the group company has exceeded that of electric power enterprises.
