In the dry season, Danjiangkou units have to operate in phase modulation for a long time to generate reactive power to maintain the voltage level of the power grid, but a large amount of active power absorbed by the phase modulation camera group can not be compensated. This can be regarded as the great selfless contribution made by Danjiangkou Hydropower Plant to the power grid and society.
