I am seventeen years old and want to apply for a tourist visa to the United States. What should I do?

To apply for a US visa, you must be below 14, and apply for an interview-free transfer. /kloc-more than 0/7 can apply for a US visa normally.

If you want to apply for a business/tourist visa in the United States, you should pay the visa application fee (US$ 160) and submit the following materials:

1. electronic application form for non-immigrant visa (DS- 160).

2. A valid travel passport to the United States must be valid for at least 6 months outside the scheduled stay in the United States (except for countries that have special agreements to enjoy visa exemption). If the passport contains more than one person, each visa applicant needs to submit a separate application.

A 2-inch by 2-inch (5. 1 cmx5.1cm) photo taken in the last six months.

3. If a visa is issued, a visa reciprocity fee may be required according to the nationality of the applicant.

Steps to apply for a US tourist visa:

Step 1 Complete the electronic application form for non-immigrant visa (DS- 160).

The second step is to pay the visa application fee.

Step 3: Make an appointment for an interview. To make an appointment for an interview, you need to provide the following three pieces of information:

1. Passport number;

2. The number on the payment receipt for visa application;

3. The ten-digit (10) barcode number on the confirmation page of DS-160.

Step 4: Please interview at the American Embassy or Consulate General at the appointed time. Please take with you the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS- 160, the recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports. If any of the above materials is missing, the application will not be accepted.

When applying, students need to bring their transcripts and degree certificates/diplomas, as well as bank statements, time deposit certificates and other proof of funds.
