What are the types of study visas in the Netherlands and how to apply?
Visa type
The first category is self-funded, which is the largest number of students studying in the Netherlands now;
The second category is full-prize international students, mainly international students funded by the Dutch government or the China government;
The third category is semi-award-winning international students, who are free of tuition by Dutch schools and live at their own expense;
The fourth and fifth categories are exchange students and vocational training students, both of which are relatively few.
The visa process is very simple. The Dutch embassy is at Liangmaqiao. It opens at 9: 30 in the morning, but if you want to get a visa, you must go early.
Outside the embassy, people usually line up spontaneously, and some people will remember their numbers to prevent others from cutting in line. When the embassy opens, you have to follow the instructions of the doorman. Because there are many visas in the Netherlands, at this time, you wave into two teams, one is signing, the other is signing, and then the other is signing.
After entering the embassy, go directly to the main entrance. After entering, the visa officer is in two windows on the left, just like a bank. If you sign it backwards, it will be all right soon. I don't usually ask you anything, but if you sign in front, you may be uncertain. Sometimes I don't ask, but I'm not afraid. The visa officer knows Chinese.
After signing, the visa officer will take away the materials he should bring, then ask you for 390 yuan RMB, and then give you a small receipt and a note to get the visa. It's finished here. Generally, it takes 3-4 days to get the visa after the counter-signing, and it takes several weeks to sign the visa.
Applied skills
With the rapid increase of the number of China students studying in the Netherlands, it is particularly important for you to choose a school and major that suits you best and meets your expectations and requirements. In addition, a considerable language level and background are also important factors that determine whether students can keep up with the progress of the course and successfully complete their studies. The purpose of this revision is to ensure that you and other China students who plan to go to the Netherlands can fully meet the academic requirements and be successful and meaningful in the Netherlands.
Fast MVV visa procedure
The new application conditions are part of the visa application procedure for going to the Netherlands. If you want to study in the Netherlands for more than 90 days, you must obtain a temporary residence visa (Dutch: Machtiging tot Voorlopig Verblijf or MVV).
As students, most of them can get MVV visas through the fast MVV countersigning procedure. This requires a Dutch agency, not you, to apply for an MVV visa from a Dutch visa agency. Most students will have no difficulty in obtaining a visa for studying in the Netherlands. Under normal circumstances, the fast MVV visa process will last for 6-8 weeks.
Neso certificate
Your receiving institution in the Netherlands needs to submit a Neso certificate to the Dutch visa agency in order to apply for your MVV visa. Neso Certificate is a document issued by Neso Beijing to prove the validity of the (forum) level and academic degree certificate provided by your application for Dutch university.
The application for Neso certificate cannot replace the routine procedure of applying for admission to Dutch universities. Please note that you need to register the Neso certificate in person, and Neso Beijing will send the certificate directly to the applied Dutch institutions. You won't get the Neso certificate or its copy.
Visa skills
It takes at least three months to apply for an MVV visa to study in the Netherlands, and it takes a long time to apply for a Dutch visa, so all of us should make preparations in advance to improve the application efficiency.
1. Submit your application materials for studying in the Netherlands.

Endorsement visa instructions
China students who want to study in the Netherlands need to apply for MVV visa (MVV is a Schengen visa, which can be used to go to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands).
There are two ways to get a Dutch study visa:
1, ordinary visa (direct visa)
That is, the applicant applies for a visa himself. As in most countries, I need to go to the embassy or consulate to be questioned by the visa officer. Usually this visa method takes at least 3 months. Time-consuming and laborious and not necessarily successful.
Step 2 countersign the visa
That is, apply for a visa for the applicant directly outside the country (territory). Through our help and guidance for students to prepare materials, the applicant's visa documents are fully prepared and submitted to the local immigration bureau in the Netherlands through the school to handle visa matters for the applicant. The whole process usually takes one and a half months. Because it is a reverse sign, there will be no problem with the visa.
