New Zealand dairy breed

There are mainly the following breeds of dairy cows in New Zealand:

1, Holstein Cow: It is the largest cow breed in the world, accounting for 34.7% in New Zealand. This kind of cow is the easiest to identify, that is, it has a "cow face"-a black and white cow. They are very big, and their milk contains high concentrations of protein and lactose.

2. jerseys: currently accounting for 0/0.4% of New Zealand dairy cows/KLOC. They are the cows with the highest milk fat rate and the smallest size. Their milk contains high concentration of dry matter, cream and protein, which is very milk.

3.Kiwicross: It currently accounts for 45.6% of New Zealand dairy cows. They are a hybrid of Holstein and Juanshan cattle, and their appearance is dark brown with some white or black spots. They have high reproductive efficiency, easy calving, high fecundity and long life.
