After breakfast, she and her husband went out to work, and the eldest son went to school alone. "No need to send it, the eldest school is next door, and it will arrive in two or three minutes." Tian Hongfen said that such convenient living conditions were unimaginable before she moved to Xincun.

Dianchi Village is located at the junction of Luoning County, Songxian County and Yiyang County in Luoyang City, and belongs to the deep mountain area. There are four villagers' groups scattered within 50 square kilometers (123 households with 4 12 people).

"In our typical small villages and large ruins, the distance between each villager group is several kilometers away."1Pan Xingzhi, who was the director of Dianchi Village Committee in 967, said that many years ago, there was a school in the village, but it was inconvenient for children to go to school because the residents were scattered and far away from the school. Because of the inconvenience of going back and forth, the villagers had to stay at the foot of the mountain when they reached school age. Before Tian Hongfen moved to Xincun, she rented a house to accompany her in Gaowan Village, Jiankou Township. She said that the rented house was in poor condition, which increased the cost of living and had to pick up and drop off the children. She can't even find a job, and she can't compare with it now.

In the old village, there are many rocks, donkeys, bachelors and handers.

Pan, a 33-year-old villager in Dianchi Village, remembers an experience of going down the mountain with his parents to buy daily necessities 20 years ago.

"From our village to the village, it is almost fifteen kilometers, and more than half of them are mountain roads. I came back on foot. I cried halfway and really couldn't walk. " Pan said that since then, she has never tried to go shopping with her parents.

Because the road is not good, the villagers are most afraid of getting sick, and some villagers have delayed their illness because of the bad road.

That's how Pan's aunt died. It was the winter of five years ago, and it was snowing heavily in the mountains. Everyone in the village came to help carry Pan's aunt down the mountain, but it was impossible for anyone to get halfway.

Gong Wansheng, head of Jiankou Township, Luoning County, said that in Dianchi Village, it is also rumored that there are "three more" in the village, with more stones, more donkeys and more bachelors.

Because it is a deep mountain area, Dianchi Village is full of stones. Villagers sleep in stone kang, sit on stone benches, grind with stones and take the stone road.

Because of backwardness, girls are unwilling to marry there, so there are more single men in the village.

"There are many donkeys, mainly because the road is difficult to walk, and the people rely on raising donkeys to transport goods down the mountain." Gong Wansheng said that in the past few years, there was only one mountain road less than half a meter leading to the foot of the mountain. It was not until a 3.5-meter-wide gravel road was built that this situation improved.

It is also such a situation that although the mountain people are full of nostalgia for life in the mountains, they are still eager to move out of the mountains.

After fourteen years of persistence and struggle, the villagers completely moved out of the mountain.

The site of this project is located in Dianchi Village, and it is this project that makes the last batch of 29 villagers in Dianchi Village move away from the mountains.

Due to its special geographical location, Dianchi New Village is the only 4A-level scenic spot in Luoning County, and it is also the center of further transfer and development of Jiankou Township. Just across the Luohe River from the county seat, Dianchi New Village has ushered in new development opportunities.
