Members of the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s American Green Card requires additional information on how to write a visa case.
First of all, the B 1 visa is issued to applicants who go to the United States for short-term business activities, including signing contracts through negotiation, attending exhibitions or conferences, short-term training or negotiating business with suppliers or customers. B2 visas are issued to applicants who travel to the United States, including sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends and medical treatment. Holders of B 1 and B2 visas cannot work in the United States. Therefore, all applicants for American tourist visas must provide the following materials during the interview: 1. Valid Passport: B 1/B2 Visa applicants' passports must be valid for at least six months longer than their expected stay in the United States. If you expect that your passport will be valid for less than six months when you leave the United States, or your passport is damaged, or there is no blank visa issuance page on your passport, please apply for a new passport before coming for an interview. 2. A photo: a 5cm×5cm color front photo taken within 6 months. Please stick the photo on the English application form DS- 156, and don't use staples. Please see the photo requirements for details. 3. Original visa application fee receipt You can pay the visa application fee in 780 yuan RMB at any branch of CITIC Industrial Bank in China. Please note that once the application fee is paid, even if the applicant is refused or abandoned, it cannot be refunded. Applicants must present two original application fee receipts when submitting visa applications. Only visa applicants who meet the requirements of A- 1, A-2, G- 1, G-2, G-3, G-4, C-3 and NATO (see the website of the US Embassy in China for details) and are guaranteed by the US government can be exempted from paying the application fee. 4. Complete DS- 156 non-immigrant visa application form (all non-immigrant visa applicants must fill in). 5. Fill in the complete supplementary information form of non-immigrant visa DS- 157 (16-year-old non-immigrant visa applicants must fill in). In addition to the above-mentioned necessary materials, some types of visas also need some supporting documents. Have you prepared these materials? Please note that the following documents are not exhaustive, and showing them during the interview does not guarantee that you will get a visa. 1. Evidence that can explain why you will definitely return to China: produce documents that are binding on you in economic, social, family or other aspects to help you prove that you intend to return to China after a short stay in the United States. Due to different personal circumstances, the evidence that the applicant should produce is also different. The following documents can help the visa officer to evaluate whether you intend to return to China: household registration book, ID card, employment certificate, payroll that objectively reflects your monthly income, and passbook with regular entry and exit records. 2. Invitation letter: If you are invited to visit American residents, it will be helpful for your application to provide the following information: the information of the inviter, the purpose of your visit to the United States, and the travel schedule arranged in advance. If you just travel to the United States, you don't need to show an invitation letter. 3. proof of funds: prove that you have the ability to pay all the expenses that you don't work during your stay in the United States, such as a payroll that objectively reflects your monthly income and a passbook with regular entry and exit records. Please note that the bank deposit certificate is not helpful for the application. If you are going to the United States for business activities, please consider bringing the following information to the interview: where will you visit, who will you meet, what will be discussed during the meeting, and what products are you going to buy in the United States. The following documents may be helpful to the application: a detailed invitation letter issued by the American partner stating the purpose of the applicant's visit to the United States; Contracts or other agreements signed with American partners; Information about machines, software or other equipment tested or purchased in the United States, such as product manuals or catalogues. 5. If you visit relatives in the United States, you should provide materials to prove that you have a real and uninterrupted kinship with the inviter, and also consider providing their identity after entering or immigrating to the United States. The following documents may be helpful to your application: household registration book or other documents that can prove true kinship, photos taken with American relatives in recent years, copies of American passports or green cards of relatives, copies of passports of relatives who have stayed in the United States for a short time, and copies of American visas. If your last stay in the United States exceeds the date specified on the I-94 card at the time of entry, please show the original extension certificate approved by the US Department of Homeland Security during the interview. In addition, applicants for B 1 and B2 visas must be able to prove that their purpose is only to temporarily enter the United States for tourism and/or short-term business activities. Applicants must also prove that they have sufficient funds to pay for their stay in the United States, and that they have strong social, economic and other ties in their home country, which can force them to return as scheduled after a short and legal visit to the United States.
