When the ancients got married, they would definitely choose a good day, and generally let the fortune teller calculate. At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was a little angry. Which fortuneteller chose to marry the groom, so unlucky, hit a ghost. So he found the groom and wanted to ask who helped him choose a good day.

Seeing Zhu Yuanzhang's extraordinary temperament, the groom did not dare to neglect his visit, so he called an old man and said that he had chosen today as an auspicious day for his wedding. Zhu Yuanzhang drank the wine and asked, "You regard today as an auspicious day for others to get married. Why are there ghosts?" The old man replied unhurriedly, "I calculated that although a nigger came to Yin Shi today, a purple star came at the same time. Everything will be fine, and the host family will be blessed instead of suffering."

In ancient times, the purple star was usually where the emperor was. Hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang knew that his identity had been exposed, but he still pretended as if nothing had happened and said, "Since you are so powerful, I will write a couplet to see if you can say it: The Fuehrer stays with him."

The old man smiled: "Let the groom come to this couplet?" So the groom blurted out, "Wei Zixing takes care of Wei Zilang." Hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang said, "This is the talent of Hanlin!" It turns out that the groom is a scholar, so he is very talented. Hearing Zhu Yuanzhang say this, the old man immediately asked the groom to kneel down and give thanks. The groom bowed knowingly and was appointed as an academician.

This is a folk story, so later there was a saying that "Taizu drank a wedding banquet and gave an official".
