What happened when the court stopped Trump's new immigration ban?

On June 5th, Judge Derek Watson of the Federal District of Hawaii ruled to suspend the implementation of the new administrative order on immigration restrictions issued by US President Trump, only a few hours before the ban came into effect.

Watson pointed out in a 43-page ruling that Trump's ban violated the religious provisions of the US Constitution and was religiously discriminatory. Watson said that the ban will affect Hawaii's tourism industry, hurt the state's economy and hurt the income of the state's universities that recruit international students.

This is another major blow to the immigration restriction policy implemented by Trump after he took office. After being forced to abandon the relevant administrative order issued at the end of June, Trump issued a revised administrative order on immigration restrictions on March 6, removing Iraq from the original list, but still suspending the US refugee reception program 120 days, and temporarily prohibiting citizens of Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Somalia and Libya from entering the United States for 90 days.

On March 8, Hawaii filed a lawsuit against Trump's new immigration ban, becoming the first state in the United States to file a lawsuit against Trump's new immigration restriction order. On the day of 15, several States in the United States initiated lawsuits against Trump's new administrative order on entry restrictions.
