Where is Beigou Village?

Beigou Village was originally located in the east of the old county town of Xichuan, north of Xiushan, east of Taodan River and south of Xiushan. There are eight diagrams in the ancestral temple on the top of the mountain, and the incense is flourishing on the fifteenth day of the first month every year. There is Yeshan in the west, Yaoshan in the north, surrounded by six slopes and connected by nine ditches. The hills of different sizes are facing the north ditch, so it is called the land of treasure and envy. There are Tanshan Mountain, Dragon Play with Beads and Niangniang Temple in the southwest. Every year on the 16th day of the first month, both dignitaries and people go to the temple to burn incense and beg for children, plus the famous Shenxian Cave in the east. There are also scarabs that extend downward from Yaoshan. There is Taishan Temple on the turtle's back, and there is an ancient stage with dragons and phoenixes flying on it. Every year on the fifteenth day of the first month, pilgrims from all directions come to worship in an endless stream. Danjiang has the Yeshan Mountain stretching to Longshan, Wenchang Pavilion at the top of the mountain, Yangsi in the middle of the mountain, Huanglongtan at the root of the mountain, and the famous king standing on the bank of Danjiang in front of the mountain. It is said that the king is a dragon seal, which rises with the water and decreases with the water. There is a Jingming Temple in the south of Longshan, which can only accommodate ninety-nine monks. There is a flood and drought wharf next to Baisha Street, where merchants gather. Beigou Village is located on the famous Phoenix land, with dragon dancing in the south and tigers roaring in the west, which is outstanding. 1in the spring of 973, Beigou Village was flooded due to the storage of Danjiang Reservoir. Except for 12 households and 7 1 people who are placed in the county, the rest of Beigou people live and develop locally. Over the past 30 years, villagers in Beigou have been self-reliant, working hard and adapting to local conditions, focusing on agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing. Due to the construction of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, Beigou Village will be flooded again. It's really hard to leave one's native land. Beigou people know the big picture, take care of the overall situation, give up their small families and care about everyone. On August 10, except for 120, more than 630 people left their hometown and ancestral home reluctantly. Moving to Xiwu settlement in guandu town, zhongmou county, Henan Province, and rebuilding Beigou immigrant village have once again made great sacrifices and contributions to the country.

There are tourist attractions such as Liang Tomb, Zhengzhou Greening Expo, Zhengzhou Fangte Happy World, Yanming Island and Yanming Lake near Beigou Village, and there are specialties such as Zhongmou watermelon, Zhongmou white garlic, Zhongmou melon bean paste, Song Cheng garlic and strawberry.
