2. Fill in the application form.

3. Submit an application. When submitting an application, you must bring the following materials:

4. get a passport.

After accepting the application, the local entry-exit administration office will examine and approve and issue passports within 14 working days. When you apply for a passport, you must bring your ID card or household registration book, and take the passport "receipt" and the expenses of 200 yuan.

Step 1: Materials to be ensured before application.

1. Personal Passport: The passport must be valid for at least eight months longer than the expected date of the applicant's departure from the United States; If there is a valid visa on the old passport (or a visa that has expired less than one year), the old and new passports must be tied together and carried with you when facing it.

2. A recent color photo: a 2-inch by 2-inch (5 1mm x 5 1mm) color front photo taken within 6 months, with a square white background.

Step 2: Fill in the non-immigrant visa application form DS- 160 online.

2. After all written materials are completed, electronic photos are also required to be uploaded. Be careful that it must be exactly the same as the photo you brought when you signed it.

3. If you don't fill in the website at one time, you can save it temporarily and fill it in later. B 1 is a business visa and B2 is a tourist and medical visa. You can also apply for a B 1/B2 visa.

4. After submitting the application documents, the system will automatically generate a PDF confirmation page with the visa application number.

5. Print this confirmation page, which will be used for face-to-face interview.

Step 3: Make an appointment for an interview online.

Make an appointment online. The website can choose Chinese version.

1. First, you need to register a user on the website with your email address, and then you can make an appointment online after logging in.

2. In the online booking process, in addition to providing the necessary personal contact information, you will also be asked to enter the visa application number generated in the second step.

Choose the address where you want to get your passport (that is, get a visa). The website provides a bunch of outlets (basically all outlets of CITIC Bank). After you choose, go to this place to get your passport after the visa is issued.

If you want to be with your family, the new website can "add peers" and then package them.

5. After all are added, enter the payment link:

You can click "Click here to choose the payment option" and then prompt whether to pay online or to China CITIC Bank.

If you choose a debit card, it should have the same function as online payment. If you choose "CITIC Bank" and choose offline payment (the most troublesome one), the website will automatically generate one, and the number must be recorded.

Step 4: Pay at CITIC Bank.

Step 5: Make an appointment for an interview online.

1. After paying the money, go back to the website, continue to the third step, enter the "receipt number", and then you can choose to make an appointment for an interview on the electronic calendar.

2. After the appointment is successful, a confirmation page of the successful appointment will be generated, which should also be printed and brought with you during the interview.

Step 6: Prepare the interview materials.

In fact, the American visa is directly discussed with the visa officer, and there is no need to prepare a copy of any materials. Everything is the same.
