One Goal Becoming Famous is a sports inspirational film, directed by Danny Cannon, written by mike jefferies, Richard Clemente and Ian La Frenais, starring Kuno Becker, Stephen Dillane and anna friel. It was released in China on March 24th, 2006.

The film tells the story that Santiago, a Latino youth, has grown into a superstar of Newcastle United in the Premier League with his football talent and unremitting efforts.

At the age of ten, the little boy, San Tiago Mooney, smuggled across the US-Mexico border with his father and grandmother, bringing only a football and a photo of the World Cup. Football is everything in San Diego. However, illegal immigrant Santiago can't do whatever he wants, although he is good at playing football. He can only follow his stubborn father to help the rich people in Los Angeles clean up and earn a meager salary.

One day, a scout from England discovered Santiago's talent and encouraged him to go to England where football is booming. Under the strong opposition of his father, Santiago finally left home and went to England alone to challenge his limits.
