Anze County is located in the east of Linfen City, Shanxi Province, at the southeast foot of Taiyue Mountain, at the junction of Linfen, Jincheng and Changzhi, and adjacent to Tunliu County and Zhangzi County in the east.

It is connected to Guxian County and Fushan County in the west, Qinshui County in the south and Qinyuan County in the north. It is about 65 kilometers long from north to south and 45 kilometers wide from east to west. National Highway 309 and Provincial Highway 326 run through the whole territory. Anze county has a complex terrain, and the overall terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The peaks in the east are Mount Antai, Quanmiao 'ao and Panxiu Mountain. , all above sea level 1400 meters. Mount Antai is the highest, with an altitude of1592m, and there are Dadonggouliang and Niutou Mountain in the west, with an altitude of1000m. The Qinhe River basin in the south is low-lying, with a small plain, about 800 meters above sea level.

The larger tributaries in this section with a watershed area greater than 100 km ㎡ include Hongyi River, Helin River, Dahuang River, Liyuan River, Fifth River, Tangyi River, Kongcun River, Wangcun River, Sihe River and He Lan River. The inflow of Qinhe River is 207 million m3, the natural runoff is 31.70 million m3, and the total outflow is 524 million m3. The water quality is mainly bicarbonate, which belongs to medium hard water.

Anze County has a total water volume of 65.438+0.9 billion cubic meters and a total groundwater resource of 65.438+0.654.38+0.3 billion cubic meters, which belongs to low salinity fresh water. Most of them are distributed in the first and second underground levels on both sides of the Qinhe River and its tributaries, and the phreatic water is 5-250m away from the surface, with sufficient recharge and easy exploitation.
