Why was The Kite Runner filmed in China?
The Kite Runner is a feature film released by Paramount in 2007. The play is adapted from khaled hosseini's novel of the same name.
The film tells the story of two Afghan teenagers, Amir and Hassan. The nightmare experience made Amir immigrate to America. When he is faced with an opportunity to put aside his guilt and find his kind and innocent self again, how will he choose?
Film evaluation
Amir's close friendship with Hassan, the son of his father's servant, becomes the main thread throughout the book. Afghanistan described by the author is warm and leisurely, but it is tense because of the friction between different races, and it is full of unforgettable scenes.
This story is well told and easily described, which is similar to Kawabata Yasunari's Thousand Cranes.
