Wuxi dialect is a dialect of Wu dialect, which spreads in Wuxi city and its jurisdiction and belongs to Taihu dialect in Wu dialect. Wuxi dialect can basically communicate with Suzhou dialect, Changzhou dialect, Jiaxing dialect, Shanghai dialect, Huzhou dialect, Hangzhou dialect, Shaoxing dialect and Ningbo dialect.
