Asking questions about immigrating to Canada

The following are some experiences that I have summed up through my six-year life experience in Canada. You can read them with critical thinking. I may be wrong. I just use them as your reference.

Generally speaking, going abroad can increase your knowledge, hone your ability to resist stress and have a new way of thinking. China's future development model will be similar to that of western developed countries to some extent. In other words, advanced foreign ideas, management techniques and social models may be what China will look like in the future. However, after reading some posts, I object that someone has been encouraging others to go abroad. What suits you is not necessarily suitable for others, and what suits you may even bring the opposite effect to others. If there are conditions in China, you can consider whether to go abroad. This should be analyzed according to your own expectations, your own conditions and your family situation. It's hard to say how long it will take to earn back the cost. Someone has been saying that it is good to go abroad. Personally, I think it is one-sided (I went abroad in 2003 and am now in Toronto). First of all, staying abroad after going abroad is suitable for these people: 1. People who can quickly integrate into the circle of foreigners (which requires your emotional intelligence and English as the foundation) have certain academic qualifications and skills, can find good jobs abroad, and like the unrestrained life abroad (ask yourself, how well do you think you can mix with foreigners and how much do you know about their culture? For example, there are still cultural differences in different parts of China. Even if everyone speaks Chinese, there are people who don't fit in. ) or you are purely technical, such as cs, and you don't need to deal with others too much. Give you a job, and you will be ok if you finish it alone. Like the first kind of people, they can really get a life abroad that they can't get at home, which is suitable for staying abroad. Or if you are willing to enjoy their welfare and understanding at the expense of boring living environment (some people understand boredom as simple and unrestrained, and everyone has different views), it is also appropriate to stay abroad (personally, the opportunity cost is too high) 2. Labor, such people earn very little at home, but they can earn a lot abroad (even if their English is not good, manual labor is similar, so there is no such requirement). People who are willing to sacrifice their generation for their children. There is no denying that education abroad is much better than that in China.

But if there are people with background and foundation in China, and I am also good at this kind of socialization in China, I think it is better to come back. I think I belong to this kind of person. Don't say that foreign countries don't talk about relationships like China. Most people who say this don't know the situation abroad. You say that because you don't understand the rules of the game for foreigners. This is a simple example. As far as job hunting and study are concerned, there is definitely a relationship between having internal relations and not having internal relations, which has great advantages. In this part of the workplace, we are far less competitive than foreigners. Not to mention thinking, language and ability. Of course, there are some great China people who can get along well without these things and surpass foreigners, but after all, they are a minority, and I am talking about the general situation. Ask yourself, if you compete with foreigners in the workplace, what is your competitiveness and why employers want you instead of people of the same race. As a boss, do you prefer China employees or Indian employees? Besides, studying, foreign universities recruit students independently, and you have connections, which makes it easier to enter a good university. I personally am an example. I don't want to cry roast meat, to be honest. Everyone at Ivy School knows that. . One of the best business schools in Canada, I can get into the G-test 600 because there is a certain relationship. Of course, strong people don't care about this.

If there are people with a certain foundation at home, on this premise, staying abroad is equivalent to starting from scratch, but at home it is10,20,50. Some people say that going abroad is mainly immigration. I want to ask, what is the purpose of your immigration? For a better life? Is it possible for immigrants to live a better life? Or is it easier to get a better life after emigration? It doesn't make sense! I can tell such people that success in life does not depend on where you are, but on how to do and what to do. Please note: I just deny those views that immigration will make me different, not the original intention of all immigrants. If immigration is for social security abroad, let me put it bluntly, you live on social security there, just like those refugee workers. It can be considered that welfare is good and education is free, but these are mainly for the next generation. We haven't decided yet How can we consider the next generation? And medical care. Public health care in Canada is very poor and inefficient. If you don't die soon, you should wait in line. . I can drag you to death then. I got a pair of glasses and spent two months before and after. It's no exaggeration. When I first went there, the foreigner told me enthusiastically: I know you are studying now, and you really need this pair of glasses. We'll give it to you as soon as possible. . . Free medical care. I don't want to say more. Everyone who goes abroad knows that. In addition, cars and houses are cheaper than those in China, and they are indeed cheaper than those in China, but you have to spend hundreds of thousands to buy a house, and it is only an apartment. It will take you decades to buy a house, and it is not in that kind of good neighborhood, and you have to pay local tax every year. Would you like to live with some old black X? Do you think that earning 2-3 thousand Canadian dollars a month is enough for you to buy a good car and house? This money is only enough for you to solve the problem of food and clothing there, and at the same time you can save some money. It's impossible to enjoy life like in China, and it's good to earn 2000-3000 yuan (note: having money at home to send your children abroad doesn't mean you can solve the problem of buying a house and a car there. If the family is so rich, there is no need to read my post. Where there is money, there is heaven)

Go on, it's true that you earn more money in Canada than in China, but only compared with the same low-end industries in China. After your master's degree, are you willing to be bossed around by foreigners all day and act according to their faces? This is what I mentioned before. Where do you think your competitiveness lies? Undeniably, some people in China have a good life there, but generally speaking, the mainstream of western society is still white, and China people belong to marginal groups. When we finish learning skills and return to China with foreign diplomas and gold-lettered signboards, we will have many advantages over our domestic peers (but I always think that diplomas are only a stepping stone, and the development after employment depends on ability and emotional intelligence, which is the same everywhere. Don't expect you to have a good job and a good income with a good diploma, but you must have a good diploma if you want to have a good job and a good income. As far as my experience after work is concerned, China still recognizes foreign diplomas. I didn't mean to belittle China people, just tell the truth. This has a lot to do with the inferiority of our nation: everyone thinks foreign countries are good. First of all, it will have a good influence on the psychological level of the employer. After returning to China, I went to work in a foreign company for several years and made some achievements. Then I jumped ship to a better state-owned enterprise, and the days moistened you to death.

On the other hand, sometimes I think it's sad that so many people have to emigrate because their heads are crushed. Everyone thinks that foreign countries are paradise, but in fact life is very sad. The TV series "Beijingers in new york" is the best example. When I was abroad, I seldom went to China restaurant for dinner, because it was more expensive there, and I only went on holidays. But in China, there is delicious food every day. . . Well, we can't judge whether we should stay in Canada because of the short-term material enjoyment at present, but I really don't want to continue living in Canada. As far as my experience is concerned, the happiest thing every week is to play a killing game with 10' s friends. But I also know some people who just like living abroad, that is, the first kind of people I mentioned. They like the equality and freedom of foreign countries and the natural and humanistic environment that China can't match. I always wanted to stay in Canada when I was in college. I thought that when I was abroad, I could say that camels starved to death were bigger than horses. Anyway, it's better abroad. After graduating in 2007, I worked in Canada for one year, and my work was not bad. Last year, I went back to work for some time. Shit, I suddenly understand that China is really nice. China is much better than there in terms of salary, material and psychology. I really don't want to go there at all. Now I have to go out because I want to study for a master's degree, but I decided to go back to China as soon as I finished reading, without any delay. . My conclusion is that after reading the book, I will make a comparison between the societies of the two countries and then decide where to stay.
