If you just graduated now, it is almost impossible to immigrate ~ ~ ~

Current policy:

1) visa for 10 years (for all students, or for high-skilled immigrants or psw), and then apply for permanent residence in the UK, and obtain British citizenship in 1 year.

2) Get permanent residency after two years of marriage. /kloc-You can apply for naturalization after 0/year.

3) You can obtain permanent residency after 5 years of work visa, and you can apply for naturalization in 1 year.

After July 20th11,your 10 visa cannot be changed into permanent residence status. The term "permanent residence status" will no longer exist.

On July 2, 2009, the British Border, Immigration and Citizenship Act 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the "new Act") was passed by the upper and lower houses of the British Parliament and came into effect after being signed by the Queen. This is the fourth immigration naturalization law in Britain after 1970, referred to as the new law. According to the new law, foreigners who have just arrived in Britain after July 20 1 1 will be collectively referred to as "temporary residence". After that, when they have high-tech immigrant visas, work visas or marriage visas, they will be regarded as "qualified immigrant status". Student visas are not eligible to apply for immigration.

According to the "New Law", holders of high-tech immigrant visas (or work visas) can apply for "trainee citizens" from "eligible to apply for immigration" after five years of continuous work. Probation period 1 to 5 years. If the person concerned fully meets the standards required by the new law, he can become a "full citizen" and become a British citizen after 1 year.
