Jingle County is located in the south of Xinzhou area and the northwest of Taiyuan City, with the north latitude between110 43'-112 20' and 38 08'-38 40'. East to Xinzhou and Yangqu, south to Loufan and Gujiao, west to Lanxian and Kelan, and north to Ningwu and Yuanping. The county covers a total area of 2,058 square kilometers and governs 4 towns 18 townships, namely: Chengguan Town, Dujia Village, Kangjiahui Town, Fengrun Town, Diaoergou Township, Tangershang Township, Zhongzhuang Township, Shuanglu Township, Quanzhuang Township, Chashang Township, duan jia zhai Township, Xincun Township, Mafang Township, Wangcun Township and Xifangya Township. The county government is stationed in Chengguan Town.

Jingle County in the Spring and Autumn Period was Fenyang City in Jin and Fenyang County in the Western Han Dynasty. Sandui County is located in Shanxi, and Sandui City is located in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Daye was renamed Jingle County in four years. In the Tang Dynasty, the northern countries were placed in another place, and both the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty belonged to constitutional countries. The Yuan Dynasty ruled the state and abolished the county. In the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369), it was renamed Jingle County. 1April, 946, Jingle and Jingning merged into Jingle County. 1958 winter, Jingle and Lanxian merged into Jingle County, 196 1 year, divided into two counties. 197 1 year, Jing Yao, Heyangshudi, etc. 10 commune in the south of the county were placed under the newly-built loufan county, forming the present administrative region, and have been under the jurisdiction of Xinzhou District Administrative Office ever since.
