Introduction to Luoyuan County
Luoyuan County, also known as Fengchuan, or Luo for short, is located on the northeast coast of Fujian Province and northeast of Fuzhou City, between 26°23′-26°39′ north latitude and 119°07′-119 east longitude. 54′, it borders the East China Sea to the east, Minhou County to the west, Lianjiang County to the south, and Ningde City to the north. It has a subtropical oceanic monsoon climate, with an average temperature of 19°C and an average precipitation of 1,645 mm. The Luoyuan Bay Port Area is one of the natural deep-water ports. The water depth at Jiangjunmao Port at its outlet reaches more than 60 meters at low tide. There is the Songshan Reclamation Project at the top, and the Luoyuan Bay Development Zone is built within the reclamation area. Luoyuan County is a provincial-level economic and technological development zone, a temporary first-class treaty port, a ferry berthing point at Fuzhou Port, a trade point with Taiwan, and China's first comprehensive land development and consolidation demonstration zone. Luoyuan County is one of the main settlement areas of the She people in Fujian and one of the most dynamic economic growth areas. Shenhai Expressway, 104 National Highway, Wenfu Railway transit the border, and there is Tamsui Wharf. Specialties include Qijingtang green tea, Xialin sheep, etc. Places of interest include the Wanshou Pagoda and Chen Taiwei Palace, the Shengshui Temple on Lianhua Mountain, the Eighteen Arhats and Guanyin statues carved in diabase in Qiyun Cave, the tombs and white pagoda in Xilan, the Caiweng inscription stone in Zomaling, and the Changshou Bridge , Nanchenqiao, Daijiang She ethnic customs and so on.
