Moddock University is the second oldest university in Western Australia and is regarded as one of the best research universities in Australia. Modoc University was founded in 1975. At present, it has more than 22,000 students and 2,000 faculty members, including 2,000 international students from about 100 countries around the world. The veterinary course of Modoc University is the first veterinary course in Australia to be certified by the American Veterinary Association. The main campus also has veterinary clinics, teaching hospitals and animal farms.
