Do I need to be certified when I come back from studying abroad?

Academic qualifications are not required by the state, but are handled voluntarily.

Through the overseas academic degree certification of the service center, the unit can clearly understand the level of academic degrees obtained by personnel and can clearly confirm the authenticity of students' overseas academic degrees.

1. The corresponding academic degree certificates or higher education diplomas obtained by foreign universities or other institutions of higher education studying formal courses;

B, Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools (projects) study abroad academic degree certificate or higher education diploma.

C corresponding academic degree certificates or higher education graduation certificates obtained by universities or other institutions of higher education in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Generally speaking, the whole process of foreign degree certification and evaluation takes more than 20 working days. It should be noted that this time does not include the mailing time. From the date when the self-center receives the complete application materials and passes the preliminary examination on working days to the date when the certification results are issued (mailed). If the certification body does not reply to our verification letter in time, and the bank remittance of foreign applicants does not arrive in time, the certification time may be extended.

Our center will extend the certification completion period of the following certification applications:

(1) In the process of completing the degree, the applicant's study place or experience involves more than two countries (including domestic study experience);

(2) The applicant cannot submit the application materials in person and entrust others to go through the formalities;

(3) The certification application materials are incomplete;

(4) The issuance date of foreign academic degree certificates required for certification is three years.
