This measure has been piloted in Shanghai, Zhuhai, Shunde and other large and medium-sized cities. With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, one or two large and medium-sized cities can be selected for piloting.

Cancel the quota limit for going to Hong Kong and Macao. From June 5438+February 1 day, 2002, the quota restrictions on business and tourism in Hong Kong and Macao will be abolished to facilitate mainland residents to engage in business and tourism activities in Hong Kong and Macao. There is no need to submit an invitation letter for exit application. By the end of 2002, China will cancel the requirement of submitting an invitation letter when going abroad for personal reasons, and at the same time cancel the practice of issuing an exit registration card with a passport when going abroad for the first time, so as to further facilitate citizens to enter and leave the country for personal reasons.

Open a special passage for China citizens to enter the country. In order to make China citizens feel more intimate and proud of returning to the embrace of the motherland, the entry-exit administration department of China, on the basis of summing up the experience of setting up China citizens' special entry passages at Beijing and Shanghai ports, will implement them at Hongqiao, Baiyun, Waisha, Gao Qi, Shenyang, Zhoushuizi, Nanjing, Fuzhou Airport, Guilin and Kunming 10 airport ports to facilitate citizens' entry and exit.

Foreigners' group tourist visas can be processed at the port.
