According to the decision of the government of the Russian Federation, a new method of handling invitation letters is implemented throughout the Russian Federation.

The new measures are applicable to both commercial institutions in Russia (including foreign enterprises, unlimited companies, limited companies, open and closed joint-stock companies in Russia) and non-commercial institutions (including institutions in the fields of education, sports, culture, entertainment, medical care and other social organizations, consortia and foundations). ).

The invitation letter of foreign citizens to enter Russia shall be handled by a Russian legal person in the local representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the legal person shall carry out activities in accordance with Russian laws. Invitation is a special form of anti-counterfeiting. After the invitation letter is completed, the representative of the inviting unit will give it to the invitee.

If the visa application is urgent, you can send the relevant residence to the Russian consular office abroad by telex or fax.

If it is too far away from the representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to handle the above formal invitation procedures, the inviting unit may fill in the formal invitation form of the unit, affix its official seal, and submit it to the local foreign affairs bureau for verification after being signed by the general manager. In this case, when the visa applicant submits the application, the attached invitation letter must be original.

Upon acceptance, relevant materials will be sent back to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Russian consular offices issue two kinds of work visas. Among them, the most common is the employment work visa. According to the current regulations, foreign citizens employed in Russia can only hold the following leadership positions: general manager, deputy general manager and chief accountant, and their number is strictly controlled.

Another kind of work visa is a temporary work visa. At the invitation of Russian employers, the holders of this visa, as seasonal workers, have the right to work on the project site, install machinery and equipment and engage in agricultural work on farms and farms according to the contracts between the two parties.
