Second, how to apply for a visa
(1) Submit a valid passport.
(2) Submit various documents related to the application, such as my birth certificate, marital status certificate, education certificate, work experience certificate, etc.
(3) Fill in and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms. Most of them should be filled out in foreign languages and photos should be provided at the same time.
(4) Meeting with officials of the Embassy and Consulate of China in that country. Some countries stipulate that all immigrant applicants must be interviewed before making a decision; Some countries also require interviews to apply for non-immigrant visas.
(5) The embassy or consulate shall submit the completed visa application form and necessary supporting materials to the domestic competent authorities for examination and approval. The embassies and consulates of a few countries have the right to issue visas directly, but they still have to report to China for the record.
(6) After going to the competent department of the country for necessary examination and approval, notify the embassy or consulate in the country of the examination and approval opinions. If you agree, a visa will be issued. If you refuse, you will also inform the applicant.
(7) Pay visa fees. Generally speaking, when submitting a visa application, you must pay the fee first. In some countries, the fee is charged only after the visa application is successful. Generally speaking, immigrant visa fees are slightly higher and non-immigrant visa fees are slightly lower. There are also some countries and regions that are visa-free.

Article 17 The registered items of a visa include: visa type, name, sex, date of birth, number of entry, entry validity, stay time, date and place of issuance, passport or other international travel document number, etc.
Article 18 When applying for a visa, foreigners shall submit their passports or other international travel documents, as well as relevant materials on the reasons for applying, and go through relevant formalities and be interviewed according to the requirements of foreign visa authorities.
Article 19 If a foreigner needs to provide an invitation letter issued by a domestic unit or individual when applying for a visa, the applicant shall provide it according to the requirements of the overseas visa authorities. The unit or individual that issued the invitation letter shall be responsible for the authenticity of the contents of the invitation letter.
Article 20 Foreigners who need urgent entry for humanitarian reasons, urgent business, engineering repairs or other urgent entry requirements may apply for port visas at ports approved by the State Council to the port visa authorities entrusted by the Ministry of Public Security (hereinafter referred to as the port visa authorities).
Travel agencies that organize inbound tourism in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state may apply to the port visa authorities for group tourist visas.
When applying for a visa to a port visa authority, foreigners shall submit their passports or other international travel documents, as well as relevant materials on the reasons for their application, go through relevant formalities according to the requirements of the port visa authority, and enter the country from the port where they apply for a visa.
The visa issued by the port visa authority is valid for one entry, and the stay period indicated in the visa shall not exceed 30 days.
Article 21 A foreigner shall not be granted a visa under any of the following circumstances:
(1) Being deported or deciding to be deported, and not allowed to enter the country within the prescribed time limit;
(2) Suffering from severe mental disorder, infectious tuberculosis or other infectious diseases that may cause great harm to public health;
(three) may endanger China's national security and interests, disrupt social order or engage in other illegal and criminal activities;
(four) in the process of applying for a visa, or can not guarantee the expenses required during the period in China;
(five) unable to submit the relevant materials required by the visa authority;
(6) Other circumstances in which the issuing authority considers it inappropriate to issue visas.
If the visa is not issued, the visa authority may not give reasons.
Article 22 A foreigner may be exempted from visa in any of the following circumstances:
(a) according to the mutual visa exemption agreement signed by the Chinese government and other governments, they are visa-free personnel;
(2) Holding a valid residence certificate for foreigners;
(3) Aircraft, ships and trains with international connecting tickets transit from China to a third country or region, and stay in China for no more than 24 hours and do not leave the port, or stay in a specific area approved by the State Council for no more than the prescribed time limit;
(4) Other circumstances under which visa exemption can be stipulated in the State Council.
